Ngā whakamāramatanga o te tūranga

Ngā Kura ā iwi o Aotearoa are looking for an exceptional, passionate and innovative educator to join our teaching team in Te Whare Angitu. Join our team of expert teachers in Te Whare Angitu and contribute to the educational pathways of Uri (students) from across the kura ā iwi network.  We are looking for an innovative and experienced teacher who can support the aspirations of Uri and kura in the English curriculum area.

As Kaiārahi Reo Pākehā, you will lead the development and delivery of NCEA Te Reo Pākehā courses, including literacy co-requisites. You will design engaging lesson content and assessment aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. You will model excellent teaching practice in online settings, and support Uri with high quality pastoral care. 

You will have experience in:
  • Secondary teaching in English
  • Online teaching and course development
  • NCEA assessment processes
  • Kaupapa Māori Education – working with rangatahi Māori from immersion kura
