Toiarikikura Whutupōro is a live-streamed tournament that provides an opportunity for uri to be seen on a regional and national rugby platform.

This tournament plays a critical role in:
  • Retaining our rangatahi in the game
  • Providing an exciting rugby experience for our rangatahi
  • Ensuring that our rangatahi are introduced to the Bay of Plenty Rugby “Pathways and Experiences”
  • Providing an opportunity for our developing coaches, team managers and referees to be exposed to a higher level of rugby.

Toiarikikura Whutupōro have been invited to enter an Under 18s boys and Under 18s girls team into the Bay of Plenty Youth Development Cup.

A 2-day training camp will be held in Whakatāne in the days leading up to the tournament.

If kaiako/whānau are interested in being part of the coaching/management team, please contact Pou Angitu, Hannah Simmonds.
