PRE-NCEA Course

This course focuses on preparation for the co-req internal and external standards. A key focus is placed on reading of texts, understanding universal themes and developing a wider and boarder knowledge of critical thinking. Learning te reo Pākehā through a Māori lens in preparation for NCEA level learning.

  • Uri Tau 7-10

PAEARU WHAKAURU

  • Uri where English is not offered at their kura.
  • Successful completion of Te Hōtaka Whakarite.​
  • English: Curriculum Level 3 (Uri must be at least Year 9 to apply).
  • Confident and competent to navigate and engage in new digital spaces.
  • Uri must be reliable, responsible, self-managing, self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards learning.

NGĀ ARA AKO

​This course will position uri to be successful at English NCEA (Level 1) and beyond.
