TIROHANGA WHĀNUI

This course is an initiative of Te Whare Angitu designed for NCEA (Level 3) providing uri with taiao related kaupapa that expand and deepen knowledge learned in Tiaki Taiao Level 1 and Level 2 courses.

  • Local knowledge and solutions
  • Critical thinking and planning for the future

PAEARU WHAKAURU

  • Successful completion of Tiaki Taiao NCEA-based (Level 2) Course.
  • Evidence of achievement at Level 2 in areas such as pūtaiao, environmental sustainability or similar NCEA courses.
  • Confident and competent to navigate and engage in new digital spaces.
  • Uri must be reliable, responsible, self-managing, self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards learning.

NGĀ ARA AKO

  • Contribute to University Entrance.
  • Tertiary study pathways include: Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Environmental Planning, Environmental Management.
