TIROHANGA WHĀNUI

This course is an initiative of Te Whare Angitu designed for NCEA (Level 2), providing uri with taiao related kaupapa, including:

• Understanding of the links between our taiao and ourselves.
• Impacts of human activity on our ecosystems.
• Innovative ways to restore and revitalise our environment.

• Scientific Investigation
• Problem Solving
• Communication and Collaboration
• Innovative problem solving

PAEARU WHAKAURU

• Successful completion of Tiaki Taiao NCEA-based (Level 1) Course.
• Evidence of achievement at Level 1 in areas such as pūtaiao or science based kaupapa.
• Confident and competent to navigate and engage in new digital spaces.
• Uri must be reliable, responsible, self-managing, self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards learning.
• Evidence of achievement at Level 1 in areas such as pāngarau, digital technologies or business studies.
