TIROHANGA WHĀNUI

This short course is an initiative of Te Whare Angitu and is designed for uri to learn the tools required to pathway into an academic course the following year.

This preparation course includes:
  • Understanding the online learning environment.
  • Collaborating with uri from other kura ā-iwi.
  • Developing research and presentation skills.

PAEARU WHAKAURU

  • ​Uri must have sufficient literacy and numeracy to engage with online platforms.
  • Uri must have support from their kura to engage in the course - including an allocated Kaitakawaenga and a letter of support from their kura.

TAIPITOPITO

​Course Starts: 2024
Location: Online
Duration: 3-4 Weeks
2x hour sessions per week.

NGĀ KAWENGA

  • A device that can access the internet, with camera and microphone.
  • Stable Wifi access at kura and home.
  • Self-motivated and able to learn independently.
