TIROHANGA WHĀNUI

This course is an initiative of Te Whare Angitu designed for NCEA (Level 1) providing uri with experiences that cover:
  • Learning about how organisations are structured.
  • Investigating a need or problem using data.
  • Developing an innovative idea, product or service.
  • Developing a solution using digital technologies.
  • Marketing, pricing and analysing cost for their idea.

PAEARU WHAKAURU

  • Successful completion of Te Hōtaka Whakarite.
  • Te Reo Māori: Curriculum Level 5.
  • English: Curriculum Level 4.
  • Numeracy: Curriculum Level 5 (Uri will be required to complete an entrance task).
  • Confident and competent to navigate and engage in new digital spaces.
  • Uri must be reliable, responsible, self-managing, self-motivated and have a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Uri who have successfully completed the Pre-NCEA Pūrau course in 2024 will be offered the opportunity to enrol in Rakahinonga L1 2025.
