This programme focuses on pathways through Te Reo Pākehā from preparation for the co-req internal and external standards, to Level 3 English NCEA.

A pre NCEA year 9 & 10 course, followed by Level 1 NCEA Te Reo Pākehā or Level 1 NCEA Communications course make up the foundations of the programme. Senior level courses for Level 2 and 3 NCEA are available for senior students.

A key focus is placed on reading of texts, understanding universal themes and developing a wider and broader knowledge of critical thinking.

Learning Te Reo Pākehā through a Māori lens is the foundation of this approach to English language learning.
